Privacy
This page describes, in plain terms, what happens to information when you visit this site, and when you buy one of our tools through Etsy.
Who is responsible
This website is operated by CNCT2SOFT, a business name under which Agita Meldere trades as a sole trader in Ireland. Agita Meldere is the data controller for the processing described on this page. Full business details are on the business information page.
For anything on this page, including any request about your own data, write to hello@cnct2soft.com.
What this site does not do
This site does not use:
- analytics or visitor measurement of any kind
- advertising, ad networks or tracking pixels
- cookies (the site sets none)
- third-party embeds, social plug-ins or externally hosted fonts
- profiling or automated decision-making about you
There are no accounts, sign-ups, forms, payments or downloads on this site. Buying a tool happens on the marketplace, as described below.
Buying a tool
The buy buttons on this site are ordinary links to the tool's listing on Etsy. Following one does not send the marketplace anything about you from CNCT2SOFT. Your browser tells the marketplace only that you came from this website's address, not which page.
The purchase itself, including payment and delivery of the download, is handled by the marketplace under its own terms and privacy policy:
CNCT2SOFT never sees your payment card details. When you buy, the marketplace makes the order details it shares with sellers available to CNCT2SOFT, as its privacy policy describes. CNCT2SOFT uses them to fulfil and support your order, to answer you if you get in touch, and to keep the business and tax records the law requires. They are kept for as long as that support and those legal obligations need.
If you email us
If you email CNCT2SOFT, your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write are received and read so that we can reply. That correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for the conversation it belongs to, and for any record we are required to keep, for example where it relates to an order. You can ask what is held, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time.
Hosting
- Netlify
- Hosts this website. It handles ordinary web request data (see "Technical logs and IP addresses" below). See Netlify's privacy policy.
Technical logs and IP addresses
Like any website, the hosting infrastructure sees the IP address a request comes from and may keep technical request logs, typically the IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser type, for security and reliability. These logs are kept by Netlify under its own policy and are not used to build a profile of you.
Your Night and Studio preference
If you choose the Night or Studio environment with the control in the navigation, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the key c2s-vd2-env, with the value night orstudio. It never leaves your browser and contains nothing that identifies you. If you never use the control, nothing is stored. See the cookies and local storage page.
Transfers outside the EEA
Netlify and the marketplaces may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where Netlify does, the transfer relies on safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Each marketplace explains its own transfers in its privacy policy.
Why this information is used
Order details are used to perform the contract you made when you bought a tool and to meet CNCT2SOFT's legal obligations, such as keeping tax records. Emails are used to answer you. Technical logs are used in CNCT2SOFT's legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights over personal data relating to you, including the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Some apply only in particular circumstances. To exercise any of them, write to hello@cnct2soft.com. For data held by a marketplace, you can also contact the marketplace directly.
If you are not satisfied with how a request is handled, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
